Type

This section enables you to choose the Internal or External type of machining.

The Major diameter parameter enables you to define the largest diameter of the machined thread.

The Minor diameter parameter enables you to define the smallest diameter of the machined thread.

Major diameter and Minor diameter are populated when you select the tool. However, you can edit these parameters.
Major diameter must be always greater than Minor diameter and both parameters should be greater than 0.

This section enables you to choose either Left hand or Right hand direction of the machined thread.

This section enables you to define the direction of thread machining.

The thread can be machined either from Top to bottom or from Bottom to top.
