GCode Simulation

This page enables you to set location for the standard GCode simulation software packages. The following information cannot be displayed, if none of the simulators has been installed on your system.

To select one of the simulator, choose a tab with its name from the following tabs:

• VERICUT

• ImsVerify

• NCVIEW

• Eureka

• DMG

• GNAVI

To activate the simulator, select it in the GCode Simulation SolidCAM Settings.

Machine

This box displays the path to the Machine directory. This folder is defined in SolidCAM Settings.

In the following settings, optimal options are chosen by default. You can change the options according to your preferences.

Tools

This section enables you to choose how the tools will be exported: by number, by name, or by ID. You can also export holders by selecting the corresponding option.

Select the Add Prefix check box and type in the prefix in the edit box to have the tool names preceded with the specified code.

The Set Cutter compensation ON option enables you to define the mode of using compensation for exported tools.

The External Tool Table file option allows you to select an external tool table file by browsing to its location.

Rebuild Solids

This section enables you to choose which solid bodies (Stock, Target, Fixtures) will be rebuilt during the simulation.

Simulation

This optional section enables you to choose whether the Stock will be used during the simulation, or the Model.

Open destination folder

This option enables you to open the folder containing the exported files. It is located under <part folder>/<g-code-simulator-name>. You can set another destination folder by browsing into it under Export files to an external dedicated folder.
