Multiaxis Machining works on the principle of tool normal to floor surface. Thus, the entry and retract are normal to the floor surface and not any direction (XYZ).

Arc fit
SolidCAM enables you to fit an arc to sharp angles. The arc can be fit at all the moves that go to the Clearance area, Retract distance, and Safety distance.
The fitted arc radius is determined by the Arc radius field.

Selecting the Fillet check box enables you to define a numeric value to fit an arc to sharp angles.
