New Milling Part dialog box

SolidCAM enables you to create a new CAM-Part using one of the following options:

• External mode

With the External mode, the project you create is saved in the SolidCAM format (*.PRT, *.PRZ).

• Internal mode

With the Internal mode, the project you create is saved inside the SOLIDWORKS part (*.SLDPRT, *.SLDASM).
