Oval Form

This tool type has a large radii in the cutting area which allows larger stepover increments. The tools reduces the machining time and significantly improves the surface quality. These tools are primarily used in mould-making as well as in the production of tyre moulds, turbine blades, impeller blades or blisks.

A tool of this type is defined with the parameters shown in the image.
