Rest Areas

The Rest Areas option enables you to define rest material left unmachined after any machining strategy to create 3D boundaries. You can then use these boundaries to limit the operation tool path performed with a tool of an equal or smaller size to these specific areas.  

The Rest Areas dialog box enables you to choose the geometry and to define the parameters for the rest areas calculation.
