CNC-Machine

The CNC-machine controller is selected at the stage of the CAM-Part definition. In SolidCAM, each Turning CNC-Machine is defined by two files: *.vmid and *.gpp.

The *.vmid file can be edited using the Machine ID Editor.

The *.gpp file can be edited using any text editor available on your computer. The rules applied to *.gpp files are described in GPPTool help.

To enable accurate positioning of the part on the Machine and correct visualization during the Machine simulation, you can customize the Machine Setup.
