Facial Grooving
The Face option enables you to execute facial turning (the working direction is the X-axis direction).
The following option is available in Mode:
Face front grooving (in front of the geometry and parallel to the X-axis).
Face back grooving (in back of the geometry and parallel to the X-axis).
If the defined geometry does not intersect with the material boundary, it is extended by lines perpendicular to the Z-axis that are drawn from its ends up to the material boundary. In this manner, the area that has to be grooved is defined.
