Facial turning
The Face option enables you to execute facial turning (the principal working direction is the X-axis direction).
The following options are available in Mode:
Front facial turning (in front of the geometry and parallel to the X-axis).
Back facial turning (in back of the geometry and parallel to the X-axis).
In both of the above options, if the defined geometry does not intersect with the material boundary, it is extended by lines perpendicular to the Z-axis that are drawn from its ends up to the material boundary. In this manner, the area that has to be turned is defined.
