The Topology page contains parameters related to the tool geometry and orientation.

Tool Geometry

This section contains the tool units (millimeters or inches), tool scheme with dimensions, and the table that lists all parameters and respective dimensions. You can check the parameters by selecting their names on the scheme or edit them by typing new values in the table.

For composite tools, the Insert and Shank parameters are defined in the separate tabs.

Cutting edge direction

This option enables you to define the orientation of the tool: Left, Right or Neutral . The offset point of the tool moves from the left to the right side, right to left side or remains in the Neutral position depending on the Cutting edge direction selection.
