The option of Type in Clearance area section is available for selection only when the Use Rotation / Translation check box is selected on the Transformation page.

The Clearance area for the Port can only be a Cylinder. It defines the connection between the top and bottom surfaces.

The Distances parameters enable you to define the Retract distance to retract from the part. In the Clearance area, the tool turns to the final orientation for the first cut. After the rotation, the tool performs a rapid descent movement to the level specified by the Retract distance parameter.

When this check box is selected, you can define a numeric value to fit an arc to sharp angles.

Angle step for rapid moves

The Angle step for rapid moves parameter defines the angle increments for the tool tilting.
