Create operations with Hole Wizard Process

Conventional  

To start the Hole Wizard Process

1. Right-click the Operations header in CAM Manager and choose Add Hole Wizard Process. You can also click Hole Wizard Process on SolidCAM Operations or SolidCAM AFRM tab.

2. The Drill Geometry Selection dialog box is displayed.

3. Choose the holes to be drilled on the CAM Part.

4. SolidCAM automatically recognizes the type of hole and adds it to the Drill Geometry Selection dialog box.

5. When you accept the geometry by clicking in the Drill Geometry Selection dialog box, the data is processed and required operations are added to CAM Manager. You can edit these operations in the same way as you do with regular SolidCAM operations.

Automatic  

To automatically add all the holes of a CAM-Part to the CAM tree:

1. In the Drag & Drop Templates dialog box, click and drag it to a surface on the CAM-Part.
2. SolidCAM finds all the holes that are created using the Hole Wizard.
3. All the relevant operations are automatically added to the CAM tree.
