Working area definition via Geometry

In this section, you have to specify the working area geometry that defines the machining boundaries for the operation.

If you have already defined working area geometries for this CAM-Part, you can choose the geometry from the Name list.

  • Show displays the chosen geometry in the SOLIDWORKS window.
  • Define enables you to select a new working area geometry.

To define how far the tool will penetrate the boundaries of the working area, use the Tool on working area option.
