Machining Process/Hole Wizard Process

Perform auto-calculation

Select this check box in case you want the operations to be calculated automatically after the Machining Process is inserted into the CAM-Part. If you select the Ask before calculation check box, the message is displayed which enables you to confirm the calculation; if this check box is cleared, the calculation starts without prior notice.

Update extra parameters on CNC-Controller change

This option enables you to update the extra parameters defined for the operation when the CNC-controller is changed. Select the Ask before update check box if you want the warning message to be displayed before the update is started.

User Directory for Hole Wizard Process

The user directory defines the default folder in which Hole Wizard Processes created with SolidCAM are stored.

1. Click Browse. The browser window is loaded.

2. Choose the required folder from the browser.

Default Hole Wizard Process

This field displays all the Hole processes that are available in the chosen User Directory for Hole Wizard Process. When the Hole wizard (Metric) or Hole wizard (Inch) or any other defined Hole process is not specified in the Working style tab of Machine ID editor then the Default Hole Wizard Process is loaded into the CAM part.
