Horizontal Machining

With the Horizontal machining strategy, SolidCAM recognizes all the flat areas in the model and generates a tool path for machining these areas.

This strategy generates a pocket-style (a number of equidistant profiles) tool path directly at the determined horizontal faces (parallel to the XY-plane of the current Coordinate System). The distance between each two adjacent passes is determined by the Offset parameters.
