Change Tool Data


The Change Tool Data command is available when you right-click an existing operation in the SolidCAM Manager. It enables you to edit the tool parameters used in a particular operation directly from the SolidCAM Manager. The Operation Tool Data dialog box is displayed so that you can edit the data.

List operation

Show all operations using the current tool - this option displays in the List operation section all operations that use the same tool as the selected operation.

Copy data to all selected - this option enables you to copy all tool parameters in the current operation to all operations selected in the List operation section.

Show iMachining only - this option displays only iMachining operations in the List operation section.

Show all operations using the current turret - this option displays in the List operation section all operations that use the current turret.

Update Part Tool Table - this option updates the Part Tool Table with the modified tool parameters.

Machining Level

This section enables you to adjust the Machining level for the current iMachining operation. The Default level of the tool will not be modified.

Feed

This section enables you to edit the current tool feed parameters.

Spin

This section enables you to edit the current tool spin parameters.

Cutting Condition sets

This table displays the default sets of cutting parameters for the machining of different Work Materials with Comment(s) (if any). The default set selected on the Cutting Condition Data page and the corresponding Feed & Spin parameters are displayed. This table cannot be edited and is displayed for information only.
