This page contains the miscellaneous parameters of the operation.

Message

You can type a message that will appear in the generated GCode file.

Extra parameters

This section is available only when special operation options have been implemented in the postprocessor you are using for this CAM-Part.

The table displays the additional parameters defined in the postprocessor.

If you prefer working with a larger window, the Flyout Window option displays the Operation Options window.  

Gouge check

This option enables you to perform gouge checking after the calculation of 2.5D Milling operations.

During this checking, SolidCAM detects all the gouges between the tool and the target model and informs about the positions where these gouges occur.

Material boundary

Update material boundary

When this option is selected, the operation calculates and updates the material boundary to be used in following turning operations.

Material boundary connected to current fixture

This parameter enables you to choose which portion of the material boundary is taken for further turning operations. If this option is selected, you will continue with the part remaining in the fixture. If the option is not selected, you will continue with the part that was cut off.
