Definition

A

The width of the tool holder.

B The distance between the tool tip point and the side of the tool holder. Note that a negative value will cause the holder side to move outwards from the tool tip point.
C The height of the tool tip carrier.
D The height of the tool (not including the turret); must be greater than C.
D1, D2 The lengths of the two cutting edges of the tool tip. These lengths define the maximum step down size during turning.
The tool tip angle; must be between 0 and 180 degrees.
The angle between the tool tip edge and a perpendicular passing through the tool tip point. The sum of and must be smaller than 90.
E The position of the left side of the turret with reference to the tool tip point. A negative value means that the left side of the turret will be to the left of the tool tip point.
F The width of the turret.

Thickness

The thickness of the tool.
