Multi-depth Drilling Operation

Multi-depth drilling is very useful for deep hole drilling and drilling through cross holes. In this operation, you have full control of Drilling operations at every depth. The Multi-depth drilling operation enables you to define manually the areas where the feed rate changes. You can manually control the Spin rate/direction and coolant control during the retract and engage movements.   Multi-depth drilling is a method where the drill travels in steps to the specified depth into the work piece with linear feed rate, rapid retracts to first level. The tool returns back to the last drilled depth minus safety distance makes another small cut rapid retracts again and so on until the full drill depth has been reached.

In case of cross-hole drilling, the feed rate should be changed when the tool is entering and exiting the cross hole.
