Geometry page

This page enables you to define the machining geometry and the related parameters for the operation.

You can also define parameters that are specific to iMachining 2D or iMachining 3D as well as shared parameters.

iMachining 2D parameters:

• Feature Recognition Mode

• Material boundary

• Modify Geometry

iMachining 3D parameters:

• Working area

• Fixture collision protection

Shared parameters:

• Geometry fillet

In iMachining 2D only, the following tabs are available:

Stock – this tab enables you to view and modify the Stock/Updated Stock options.

Target_Fixture - this tab enables you to view and modify the Target and Fixture options.

Floor fillet - this tab can be used to easily machine pockets with floor fillet features.

In iMachining 3D only, the following tab is available:

Stock – this tab enables you to choose how the starting Stock model is defined for iMachining 3D operations.
